Fleet electrification programme opens to commercial operators
Operators can move to electric vehicles with depot charging, financing, servicing and driver training in one package.
Electrifying a fleet is an infrastructure project before it is a vehicle purchase. The programme begins with a depot assessment: duty cycles, dwell times and available grid capacity.
From there AfriBiz specifies the vehicles, the depot charging layout and the financing structure, then handles installation and servicing.
Driver training and telemetry reporting are included so operators can see running cost changes from the first month.
